This place is a true hidden gem. Firstly, the location - it is just a stone's throw from Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine, which gives you great opportunity to visit it very early or after dark. There are also two train stations in the vicinity (Keihan and JR), so getting around was no trouble at all. The only issue were crowds near Fushimi Inari, but thats a given. In the rather quiet neighborhood you can find some restaurants, convenience stores and even a supermarket. The place itself has 4 floors and a roof terrace with nice view. Our room was a traditional japanese style tatami room, it was rather spacious, the futons were super comfortable, power outlets plenty and even a desk with a chair found its place in the corner. There was a common area for guests on my floor, which had 2 shower rooms, one toilet and kitchenette with table. It was always very clean. Besides that, on the ground floor near the lobby, there is another common area, similarily equipped, but also has a tatami-kotatsu space for chilling, interacting with other guests or reading (a whole bookshelf of manga available!). Staff was very kind and helpful. There are free towels, and you can do your laundry here. I stayed there for two whole weeks, and I can't really say a bad word! If I will be staying in Kyoto anytime in the future, I will definately be staying here!

The location is excellent, 5 mins away from Keisei Inari and 10 mins from JR Inari stations. From there you can get to Kyoto station in less than 10 mins, so you can use the inn as a home base from where to visit all the Kansai area and beyond! There's a lot of fantastic places to eat nearby, from ramen shops to japanese style burgers. The lodging is great. Sleeping on the tatami floor is comfortable and did wonders for my back. Each room has an AC that can warm up or cool the room really well. There's ACs in the hallway and common areas too. The facilities are great as well. There was a common kitchen on our floor with all the appliances you need. We were able to use it to store and warm up our bento meals in the morning. We stayed on the 3rd floor and only had to share the bathroom and toilet with another room, which wasn't really an issue. The inn has a coin laundry and coin dryer and there's a small balcony on the 3rd floor for smoking and with a small but sufficient drying rack. Overall a fantastic experience. I definitely recommend this place!

Great location, very close to Fushimi Inari, with 2 train stations that lead to other attractions in Kyoto. During our stay in Kyoto, we spent the 1st and 3rd night here, separated by 1 night since we couldn't book. The guest house is very clean and convenient, every facilities are placed in the main hall so we can use them freely. Even though we did not see our hosts, we could figure everything out my ourselves since instructions are clearly written. We could leave our luggages locked in the shared hall and go outside when our rooms are not ready to check in. The room is spacious, our first time sleeping on tatami and it was quite comfy. The first night we were on the 3rd floor and we shared the toilet and bathroom with only 1 another room. The second night we were on the 4th floor and we shared the toilet and bathroom with 2 others rooms. In general, other guests behave well and the shared spaces are clean, we didn't hear a lot of noise from them either.

The location was just great, very close to the only thing I actually wanted to see during my short stay in Kyoto. Also very close to train stations and convenience store. I liked that despite arriving early, I could rest in the lobby, use the toilet, have a drink and store my luggage securely before checking in. The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. The price is also budget friendly. The whole inn is very well equipped, they clearly thought of everything and everyone. Chargers for all devices, iron, fridge, etc, you can ask for anything, they will surely have it or get it for you. :) It also seems to be family friendly, colouring pencils, musical instruments were also provided for guests. I am happy to recommend this place!

The location is perfect if you are wanting to really experience Fushimi Inari Shrine. I recommend staying here so that you can visit at night and early in the morning - it is a completely different experience! The shared spaces were calm and private but with a great sense of community, and the rooms were wonderfully authentic. Bathrooms and kitchen were so clean! The staff went above and beyond to help me, as I had personal emergencies that complicated my booking. I am so very grateful for their calm and kind communication and generosity. Despite them not knowing the details of my problem, they really cheered me up :)
